Who We Are
Freedom is one of Canada's leading, full-service Inter-Dealer Brokers. We provide integrated voice and electronic brokerage services to wholesale capital market participants in Canada and globally.
Our products include Canadian government and corporate bonds, foreign exchange, derivatives, and money market products.
Our clients include all the major Canadian and International Banks and Investment Dealers, as well as other approved institutional investors in Canada and worldwide. Freedom is based in Toronto, Canada, and through our affiliated company BGC Partners, has representatives in all major financial centres.
Established in 1987, Freedom International Brokerage Company is registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as an Exempt Market Dealer, and is an Approved Inter-Dealer Broker under the bylaws of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada. We are also a contributing member of the CanPx transparency initiative, a joint venture of IIROC capital market firms and Approved Inter-Dealer Brokers.
